I am currently reading the Psalms during my morning quiet time and this morning I came across a line in Psalm 50 that I want to pass along to you. The statement is in verse 14 and goes like this, “Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God.” I know we are still 22 days away from Thanksgiving but maybe we should start today by thanking God for his many blessings to us. Perhaps you would take a few minutes today and list ten or more things you are thankful for and add to the list over the next three weeks. It might make this year’s Thanksgiving a more meaningful celebration!
