For the past 20 years I have been the pastor of River Oaks Community Church, an Evangelical Free church in Goshen, Indiana. I have been happily married to Gloria for over 30 years and we have one adult son, Joshua.

I love to read history and real-life adventure books and my hobbies all revolve around a 27-acre ‘tree farm’ in southern Michigan that I own. I try to go there on most Saturdays to trim trees and work on various projects with my Kubota tractor and Husqvarna chain saw.
